Megan Fox has said her ‘body aches’ from carrying the weight of men’s ‘sins’ as she announces her first poetry collection.
The 37-year-old star revealed the project on social media, proudly telling fans: “I wrote a book.”
The book in question is a collection of poems, titled Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.
An official synopsis from publisher Simon and Schuster reads: “Megan Fox showcases her wicked humor throughout a heartbreaking and dark collection of poetry.

“Over the course of more than seventy poems Fox chronicles all the ways in which we fit ourselves into the shape of the ones we love, even if it means losing ourselves in the process.”
Announcing her book on Instagram, Fox shared: “These poems were written in an attempt to excise the illness that had taken root in me because of my silence.
"I’ve spent my entire life keeping the secrets of men, my body aches from carrying the weight of their sins.

“My freedom lives in these pages, and I hope that my words can inspire others to take back their happiness and their identity by using their voice to illuminate what’s been buried, but not forgotten, in the darkness.”
Some fans thought the book may be a dig at Fox’s fiancé Machine Gun Kelly - real name Colson Baker - with one person commenting: “Damn. If it was toxic just say that.”
Another asked: “MGK diss track coming soon?”
However, that doesn’t seem to be the case as the rapper was one of the first people to comment, writing: “proud of you,” alongside a fire emoji.

Fox and her fiancé were recently caught up in a fracas at the Orange County fair.
Footage shows the couple stepping off a ride when a random member of the public appeared to take a swing at MGK prompting their security guy to leap into action.
In the ensuing case, the Jennifer's Body actress ended up getting shoved into the barricade next to the ride's entrance.

Fortunately, MGK was on hand to pull Fox clear of the bust-up and they made a swift retreat.
Fans have taken the public appearance as a sign the couple’s relationship is back on track following rumours of a split earlier this year.
The first signs that something might not be right with the couple came after Fox deleted photos of them together from her socials.
Pretty Boys Are Poisonous is available to pre-order now and will be landing on shelves on 7 November.
