Viewers of Saturday Night Live couldn't believe their eyes when Morgan Wallen unexpectedly walked offstage part way through the credits, and now staff have shared their thoughts about the musician's 'completely disrespectful' actions.
Getting to appear on SNL is seen an honor for many artists and actors, so it came as a surprise when Wallen appeared to behave in this way.
Wallen was the musical guest for SNL, which is undoubtedly a huge platform for artists to share their work, and he performed songs 'I'm The Problem' and 'Just In Case'.

But rather than talk about his performance, people have been scrutinising the moments leading up to the 'Cowgirls' singer walking off, trying to read his lips and figure out what caused him to leave.
He was caught on camera storming offstage the second he finished and the credits start to roll, leaving the rest of the cast shocked and bemused.
He walked off past the cameras and out through the audience, and left guest host, Oscar-winning actress Mikey Madison, alone onstage.

The Anora star had to congratulate the cast by herself, and Wallen's actions went against the long-held expectation that celeb guests stay onstage to that and socialise until the cameras cut away at the end of the credits.
Now, show insiders allege the country star had a 'tantrum' backstage, and that his leaving the stage was just the tip of the iceberg of his apparent bad behavior.
A staffer from SNL has alleged to the Daily Mail that storming off wasn't the only 'completely disrespectful' thing that Wallen did on the night; they claim he was 'unprofessional the entire time', saying the country singer had 'a chip on his shoulder'.
The anonymous staffer said that Wallen seems to believe his own press, saying he thinks he is a 'massive star' who deserved to be treated as if 'they were lucky to have him'.

The staffer alleges Wallen 'threw a tantrum' when he soon realised he wasn't getting his way and being adored.
It's also claimed that the singers actions have caused him to be 'blackballed from ever appearing on SNL again'.
Wallen then missed the famous SNL afterparty, sharing a post on his Instagram story of his private jet, along with the words: "Get me to God's Country."
"His post right after was a total slap in the face for the folks who work so hard on the show," said the source.

Comedian Kenan Thompson, who is a long standing SNL cast member, hit out in response: "The 'God's country' of it all is strange because it's like, what are you trying to say? You trying to say that we are not in God's country? We're not all in God's country? We're not all under God's umbrella? That's not necessarily my favorite."
"I don't know what goes through people's minds when they decide to do stuff like that," Thompson continued. "I don't know if he understood the assignment or not, or if he was really feeling a certain kind of way."
This isn't the first time Wallen has caused upset with SNL.

Back in October 2020 during the Covid pandemic, his appearance had to be cancelled after videos appeared of him partying and ignoring social distancing rules.
He apologised at the time, saying "my actions this past weekend were pretty shortsighted and they have obviously affected my long-term goals and my dreams."
His apology was accepted and he was invited back on to the show two months later.
UNILAD has reached out to Wallen's representatives and NBC for comment.
