More details have emerged about the death of Slash's step daughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight.

Lucy-Bleu was 25-years-old when she was found passed away on July 19, with her cause of death being given as hydrogen sulphide toxicity.

A coroner subsequently ruled that Lucy-Bleu's death had been a suicide, with their investigation revealing that Lucy-Bleu had left notes to her loved ones.

The report added that the 25-year-old had 'a history of undiagnosed mental illness', saying that her family had said that 'she was paranoid and would have hallucinations'.

At the time of her death, Lucy-Bleu had been staying at an Airbnb rental, and had been scheduled to stay at the property for four days after she checked in on July 15.

The manager of the property had made a number of attempts to contact Lucy-Bleu.

After not hearing from her, the manager went to the property to check on her.

However, she found that she was 'unable to access the front door, which seemed to have resistance when she attempted to open it.'

After being unable to access the property, the manager then called emergency services to carry out a welfare check.

Police arrived at the scene and attempted to access the property, however, they were not able to, according to the report.

According to the report, police 'noticed resistance they described as ‘suction’ when opening the front door of the unit.'

The report continued, saying: "Upon opening the locked door, Officers observed a hand-written sign apparently meant for first responders warning about toxic gas.

"A chemical scent was also detected by Officers, who immediately backed out of the residence and called for assistance.”

Following this, the LA Fire Department Squad 87 Hazmat Unit arrived at the scene.

After entering the property, they discovered that Lucy-Bleu had mixed a lethal dose of chemicals in a cooler including cerium hydroxide, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and sodium thiosulfate.

The 25-year-old had also taped over light fixtures, electrical outlets, ceiling vents, and cracks in the windows and floors using plastic bags and tape.

The report read: “A packet of suicide notes was found on a side table in the main room. According to family, she had no previous suicide attempts but did have prior ideations."

It added: “The doctors were attempting to diagnose the decedent, but no official diagnosis was available. Family stated that she was paranoid and would have hallucinations.”

A post on Slash's Instagram page paid tribute to Lucy-Bleu, saying: “Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, California, on July 19, 2024.

"Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul."
