The cause of death for Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash's stepdaughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight, has been revealed.
On July 19, Slash announced the news of Lucy-Bleu's passing, posting a statement to his Instagram page that read: "Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024.

Per an exclusive report from The New York Post, the cause of death for Lucy-Bleu, 25, has been confirmed to be a death from hydrogen sulfide toxicity.

The Los Angeles Medical Examiner's Office further confirmed that the manner of the death was suicide.
"Ms. Knight was found unresponsive in a private residence on July 19 by law enforcement conducting a welfare check. Death was pronounced at 1500 hours," the coroner's office told The New York Post. "An examination was performed by a deputy medical examiner on July 22. The cause of death was certified on August 29."
Lucy-Bleu's cause of death was initially postponed after rulings deemed additional testing was required.

Hydrogen sulfide is an extremely flammable and poisonous gas that can be toxic to humans.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, symptoms of mild exposure to the gas can include headaches, nausea, tremors, convulsion, delirium, and skin or eye irritation.
Extreme exposure can result in death or rapid unconsciousness.

Lucy-Bleu was the daughter of Slash's longtime partner, Meegan Hodges, and her ex partner Mark Knight. The guitarist first dated Hodges in 1989, and the pair then rekindled their relationship in 2015.
Slash considered Lucy-Bleu to be a stepsister to his biological children, sons London, 22, and Cash, 20.
At the time of Lucy-Bleu's death, a post went live on her Instagram hours after Slash announced the tragic news.
It was a selfie that she took of herself with a caption that read: "Whether I made you feel excluded, manipulated/ controlled you, told you to quit your day job from the comfort of being financially supported by my parents, or drowned real issues in toxic positivity-I am sorry.
