Tupac fans are convinced he isn't dead, and think video footage from a few years back shows him alive and well aged 48.

Rapper Tupac died at the age of 25 in LA on September 7, 1996, following a tragic drive-by shooting.

But some conspiracy theorists are claiming that he is still alive, and alleging footage from 2019 shows the rapper alive two decades on from the shooting.

After decades of investigations, it wasn't until last September that Las Vegas cops arrested suspect Duane 'Keefe D' Davis, who pleaded not guilty and faces trial in November.

There have been conspiracy theorist fans ever since Tupac died, claiming that he actually escaped to Cuba, or that he knew his life was in danger and swapped places with a lookalike.

And it’s not just fans who support the theory, as Suge Knight, the founder of Death Row Records, has tossed fuel on the conspiracy bonfire.

Despite being with Tupac when he was shot, he said in 2017: "I mean when I left that hospital me and Pac was laughing and joking... I don't see how someone can go from doing well to doing bad.

    “With Pac you never know."

A clip which has resurfaced has been watched by 229,000 people on YouTube, and it seems to show a man very similar-looking to Tupac on the phone.

The creator of the video claims that it is the rapper alive at the age of 48.

Realistically, it is a man with the same facial hair and a bald head.

But the comments section is full of the rapper's die-hard fans claiming it is proof he is still alive.

One writes: "Yo, I can't front, this guy really looks like Pac.

“Especially when he turns and is smiling.

"This is possibly the clearest video evidence that I've seen of Pac being alive."

Another says: "Tupac amaru shakur lives! ! ! Come back Pac and show them what hip hop rap is!”

And a third comment reads: "Yes it is Tupac."

Yet there are also those who see past the wild conspiracies, as convincing as they may be, with many comments calling on people to let Tupac 'rest in peace'.

One reads: "Just let the man rest in peace, he was taken too young, life isn't fair, but at least he left a legacy behind."

Another says: "If y’all don’t let this man rest smh."
