Priyanka Chopra Jonas has revealed that her husband Nick Jonas watched her win the beauty pageant Miss World when he was a child.
The Bollywood star won the Miss World beauty pageant in 2000 - when she was 18 years old and her now-husband was only seven years old.

In an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the 40-year-old - who has previously opened up about her battle for to be paid the same as her male co-stars - spilt an 'interesting' story that will surely leave everyone believing in the power of destiny.
She recounted an anecdote when her mother-in-law Denise Miller-Jonas told her that the Jonas family had watched her win the coveted crown back in the Noughties.
Priyanka said: "When I was 17, actually when I was 18, I had just turned 18, I won the Miss World pageant in London, complete child.

"I had no idea what I was doing or what this world entailed, [I] didn't have a lot of practice."
Chopra recounted how Denise shared that she vividly remembers watching her win from their Texas home.
"I remember it so clearly because it was November, Nick was on some Broadway show at 7 years old, his brother was on some Broadway show at 8 or 9," Chopra said Denise told her
"I remember this clearly because Kevin Sr. loves watching pageants. And he, I remember, was watching it and Nick came and sat down and watched you win."

"It is unfathomable like that was 22 years ago," Priyanka quipped. "He was 7, I was 17. And he was sitting there, and he was watching."
On being asked if Priyanka thinks Nick and she were destined to be together, the Citadel star's response will make you reconsider your beliefs about astrological compatibility.
"Maybe," she said. "I do believe that people are meant to be with each other for whatever that duration in your life is supposed to be.

"And I think that people collide because you're supposed to create — on this small, short life that you have — memories that you will take forward, family.
"Nick and I had through our lives these weird enchanted little moments and it's lovely now to have found your person."
Priyanka and Nick made an appearance at Met Gala on 1 May.
Expressing her dissatisfaction, she criticised the Gala dinner's extravagant menu for its lack of carbs, leaving the actor craving a more satisfying meal.

She sat down on Good Morning America on Thursday (May 4) to chat about her upcoming movie Love Again, but it was the Met Gala menu that had her tongue wagging.
"There was no bread for dinner ... I was so hungry after," the runner-up of Miss India 2000 said.
"Maybe I have unrealistic expectations, but one roll of bread would be sufficient."
