For years now, many Travis Kelce fans have wondered - how exactly do you pronounce his surname?
Is it Kelce, like 'else', or Kelce, like Kel-see?
People tend to pronounce the name differently, with some people adamant it's Kelce, while others are sure that it must be Kel-see.
If you've been left confused over which is correct, you can be forgiven, especially considering Travis and his brother Jason have gone back and forth on the topic.

During their podcast, New Heights, the brothers both pronounced their surname differently at different times.
At one point, Travis said: "Who wants to hear these Kelce boys?"
Then, when Jason reads out the label of a scented candle, he says: “Smells Like Jason Kelce.” While Travis pronounced it Kelce, Jason pronounced it, Kel-see.
So which one is it?

Well, turns out, the correct pronunciation is actually Kelce, like else.
The family have since clarified the confusion, with the brothers' dad Ed clearing it all up, explaining that although it's traditionally Kelce (else), he ended up changing it after getting fed up of people pronouncing it incorrectly.
"Why in the world did you change your name out of nowhere and now we are Kel-see?" Jason asked.

"Why did we think that our name was Kel-see for the first 24 years... 27 years of my life, 25 of Trav's."
In response, Ed explained: “I never changed my name out of nowhere. I got tired of correcting people.
“That was the name that I went by at work (Kel-see). That was my work name. And everybody at work [said] that and so I just said, ‘Fine, screw this’.”
People were left shocked after realising they'd been pronouncing it incorrectly the whole time.

"I will never be conditioned to pronounce travis kelce's name correctly it's simply impossible," one wrote.
While another said: "Do you think Taylor Swift knows how to pronounce Travis Kelce’s last name?"
And a third wrote: "I can’t get over the face that Travis Kelce told y’all how to pronounce his name & not 1 person listened everyone is still calling these men Kelsey."

"We just never gonna pronounce Travis Kelce name correctly. He corrected us y’all lol," said another.
Others claimed they'd simply opt for the pronunciation that Taylor uses, with another adding: “Okay but what is (Taylor’s Version) of preference? I’m going with that.”
So just to clarify, it's Kelce, not Kel-see, got it?
