A TikToker was able to somehow see the funny side of things when she realized that her jaw wouldn’t close, with her somehow locking it while yawning.
New fear: unlocked.
Personally, I'd find the whole experience considerably more anxiety-inducing, but influencer Jenna Sinatra could hardly hold back her laughter.

Posting on her TikTok page earlier this week, she let her fans follow her journey from locking her jaw to heading to the hospital.
In her viral clips that have garnered millions of views, the New Jersey influencer convinced her parents that it was locked after they initially questioned whether she was playing a prank on them.
How did it even happen? they asked, to which she explained it was simply from yawning... yawning pretty hard, in fact.

After her parents hit up Google to see what the next steps would be, they realized it was just better to go the emergency room and let the trained professionals deal with it.
The hospital staff informed them that the 21-year-old had dislocated her jaw and it had became locked in place.
They added that their best course of action was to shut it... manually, which certainly sends shivers up the spine when you think about it.
Thankfully, they gave Jenna muscle relaxant first to make the job easier and she recorded herself feeling the effects while dribbling all over the place.

Social media users joked along with Jenna in the comments section, with many remarking they wouldn’t wish a dislocated jaw on their enemies due to it being so painful.
“I woke up with lock jaw. I suffer with TMJ," one user remarked. "And I forced it to close. Worst pain I ever felt. It hurt for 2 weeks. Don’t do what I did."
“That was one hell of a journey... new fear 'unlocked' glad it worked out.. but my jaw is always cracking and this is my biggest fear like damn what if it gets stuck,” commented another.

“This happened to me on the plane. I sat in the bathroom and cried. I had to punch my jaw back into place,” another wrote
“I would start having a panic attack how are you laughing,” a third wrote.
“This once happened to me briefly mid yawn. It got unlocked quickly and hurt for several days after. So scared of it getting stuck there,” another wrote.
So the moral of the story is never open your mouth too widley... ever. Not even for a yawn.
