A woman has tragically died after being involved in a freak accident that saw her walk into a moving plane propeller while taking photos.
The awful incident took place in Derby, Kansas, just before 3.00pm local time on Saturday (26 October).
Emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after, where they established a woman in her 30s to be critically injured.

Amanda Gallagher, 37, was hurt after taking snaps of people embarking and disembarking planes when she backed up into a moving plane propeller.
KAKE News reported Amanda was transported to a local hospital in an extremely critical condition. She later died due to her injuries.
Local authorities are currently investigating the fatality, with Cook Airfield, where the incident took place, releasing a statement on Facebook expressing their condolences.

The statement read: "Our hearts go out to the family and friends of the young lady who died yesterday after a tragic accident with an airplane propeller on Cook Airfield.
"I wasn't there when it happened, so I will not speculate on what could have or should have happened differently. Just please keep her family, her friends and her Air Capital Drop Zone family in your prayers and thoughts."
A GoFundMe has also been set up in Amanda's memory, with close to $6,000 raised as of Monday morning.
The fundraiser's organiser Abbey Charboneau wrote: "Amanda Gallagher was kind, adventurous, creative and beautiful inside and out. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed.

"On October 26th, Amanda passed away in a very sad accident, doing what she loved, skydiving and taking pictures! As her family processes through this tragic accident, they could use your help covering the funeral expenses. Please consider helping them out and also keeping them all in your prayers."
KAKE reports Amanda was a keen photographer, even owning her own business in the form of AG Photography.
With her photography business, Amanda documented all of her amazing travels and even shared photos online of her experience at the Air Capital Drop Zone.
