There's nothing worse that having to bid farewell to your favorite clothes because they've lost their shape.
We've all had clothing that we've held onto for too long simply because we really like it - personally I had a t-shirt with a hole in it for about a year because I couldn't bring myself to part ways.
But there's a way you could salvage your clothes if its the neckline that has stretched which could you save you some dollars in the future:
A life hack has been shared to @ovmarket's TikTok and its so good that people think it should have been taught at school.

In the clip, a guy explains how to fix an overstretched neckline on t-shirt just using a pot of boiling water.
With the t-shirt thats been stretched, the video shows that you need to tie a rubber band around the top so that just the neckline part is popping out.
Then boil a pot of water and, once its boiled, pop the neckline part of the tee into the water.
Leave the t-shirt in the water for 30 seconds to a minute, and take it out to let it 'rest'.

Once dried, it should have tightened the neckline of the top.
And people are going wild for the clever tip online.
One person wrote on X: "Important life skills we were supposed to learn at school smh."

"This is definitely home economics worthy," added someone else.
"I got like 15 thrifted shirts im boutta revive [sic]," said another as they expressed their intention of trying the hack out for themselves.
A different person continued: "I wish I had seen this 3 weeks before I gave that shirt away."

Social media is full of so-called life hacks, and another that was doing the rounds last month was one involving toilet roll.
The hack was to put toilet roll in the fridge (yes, you read that right).
It isn't to make the paper nice and cool when you use it though - it's actually to reduce smells from the food in your fridge.
It's all because of toilet roll's absorbent properties, able to suck up any excess moisture lingering in the fridge, which helps prevents smells from developing even further.

But if you don't fancy having a random roll of toilet roll in your bridge, apparently popping some baking soda in there is also a good way to prevent any nasty smells.
The more you know.
