A Reddit post has revealed the outstanding inside of a Swiss prison and people are baffled.
The video starts inside of the room in front of the door, and the first impressions are that it is designed to look very clinical and plain.
The video shows the bathroom, where the walls are grey, but it is surprisingly immaculately clean, and the inmates have their own toilet between what seems like two people per room.
There is a large mirror with some shelves for them to store their toiletries and products.

We then get the first look of the bedroom, where there are two single beds with a small ledge dividing them.
We can see a large dressing table with quite a big flatscreen TV placed on top, and a kettle just in case the prisoners fancy a cuppa!
The prisoner taking the video then pans around to the outside view, which if we’re totally honest, looks a lot nicer than most student accommodation buildings in the UK.
The prison is modern with huge long windows in every room, and the view is particularly green with lots of plants and trees in the garden area.

Hilariously, the inmate filmed a TikTok to the song ‘Prisoner’ by Miley Cyrus, showing us his outfit which looked like a grey jumper, black jeans, and crocs.
Yes, you read that right.
He gave viewers a quick tour of some of the corridors, and most controversially, the hole in the wall which lights your cigarette for you.

At the end of the day, he documented his food being brought to his dorm, which looked like something you would receive as part of room service at a 5 star hotel.
His food was encased in silver hardware, and we can only imagine what he would be eating, bearing in mind every other aspect of this prison.
One commenter made the brilliant point that people actually pay to live in flats and apartments in city centres, similar to the design of this prison cell.

They said: “$2000 in New York.”
However, one person commented that there are even nicer prisons in other parts of the world: “Should see the ones in Norway, Finland and Sweden.
“They are even nicer, they actively help prisoners become educated, reformed and re integrated into society and have some of the lowest reoffending rates in Europe.”
One commenter joked: “What is the crime that needs to be committed to get in there?”
