Friends is undoubtedly the biggest sitcom of our generation and appearing as a guest star was a big deal.
From Bruce Willis and Julia Roberts to Danny DeVito and Reese Witherspoon, anyone who was anyone in the nineties and early noughties seemed to make an appearance.
But while appearing on Friends would seem like an honor to most actors, Jennifer Aniston previously revealed one guest actor was less than impressed with his short stay on the hit show.

In 2021, the iconic actor told radio host Howard Stern of one person who seemed to think he was 'above' appearing on a sitcom.
"And I remember when we were doing a network run-through, the network and the producers would just laugh. And this person would be like, 'Listen to them, just laughing at their own jokes. So stupid, not even funny,'" Aniston recalled.
"It was just like, ‘What are you doing here? Your attitude, this is not what we’re all about. This is a wonderful, warm place to be, and you’re coming into our home and just s*** on it.'"

The Morning Show star did admit the actor apologized for his behavior years later, claiming he was 'so nervous' to be appearing on the show, but she kept his identity sealed.
Since then, however, guest star Fisher Stevens, who famously played Phoebe's psychiatrist boyfriend in season one, has come forward and revealed himself as the 'rude' actor.
During an episode of PeopleTV's Couch Surfing, the actor confessed to some pretty bad behavior during his Friends appearance.

"At that moment in my career, I had never done a sitcom before," he confessed. "I had never heard of Friends because it was just the beginning of the show and I didn't watch TV at the time much."
Stevens says flew from New York to Los Angeles to shoot the scenes having learned all his lines, only to discover on arrival that they had been re-written.
"Because that’s what sitcoms did. And I didn’t know that," he added. "I was kind of an a*****e, I have to admit. ‘What do you mean? So I have to relearn lines that you’ve written that are worse than what you’d originally written?’ Yeah, I was a d***."

Stevens went on to say he's rarely seen any of the Friends cast since appearing on the show, but claimed if anyone asked them about him, they'd probably describe him as a 'New York snob.'
"I’m sorry, guys. I’m sorry I was a d*** to you all. I apologize. I was bad, I was wrong," he added.
