Think back to the summer and it will more than likely bring back a clear memory of seeing Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling decked out in some pretty jazzy Lycra outfits as they were papped while filming the upcoming Barbie movie.
Well, now the Wolf of Wall Street star has opened up about how it felt being caught by paparazzi while filming in all her Barbified-glory and it’s fair to say she wasn’t exactly delighted.
During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show, Robbie was shown the leaked snaps by host Jimmy Fallon, where she shared how she felt in the moment. Take a look below:

“I can’t tell you how mortified we were, by the way,” she said. “We look like we’re like laughing and having fun, but we’re dying on the inside. Dying. I was like, this is the most humiliating moment of my life.”
When asked about if she thought the photos will prompt the online response they did, she replied: “No! I mean, I knew that we had some exteriors to shoot in L.A. I knew once you were doing exteriors, you’re gonna get papped.
"There’s probably going to be a little crowd of people who are going to take notice because, you know, we stand out a little bit in those outfits.
"So I knew there was going to be a little bit of attention, and probably some photos would get out there, but not like it did.”
She added: “It was like mad. It was like hundreds of people watching all time.”
Robbie is set to take on the role of the well-loved toy alongside Gosling’s Ken.
As well as the two a-listers, Barbie, directed by Greta Gerwig, stars Issa Rae, Hari Nef as two other Barbies, alongside Simu Liu and Ncuti Gatwa as Ken, while Will Ferrell, America Ferrera and Michael Cena also feature.
Robbie has previously revealed that ‘whatever you’re thinking’ about the idea of a flick based on the popular plastic dolly, they aim to provide something ‘different’.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Robbie said: "We like the things that feel a little left of centre. Something like Barbie where the IP, the name itself, people immediately have an idea of, 'Oh, Margot is playing Barbie, I know what that is', but our goal is to be like, 'Whatever you’re thinking, we’re going to give you something totally different — the thing you didn’t know you wanted'."
