Warning: Major spoilers for Deadpool and Wolverine from paragraph four onwards
After months, even years of waiting, Deadpool and Wolverine is finally here.
The film brings Deadpool to the MCU, drags Wolverine out of retirement, and is absolutely stuffed with cameos, easter eggs, and references.

More than any previous comic book movie, even the previous two Deadpool films, it is a gory, referential, and swear-heavy flick.
With every Marvel movie, however, there is the age-old question: Are there any post-credit scenes?
Will I be waiting, the same as Spider-Man: Homecoming just to be made fun of by Chris Evans? Or is it an end-of-Iron-Man level post-credit scene? Good thing for you, we’ve got you covered.
Is there a post credits scene in Deadpool & Wolverine?
We can confirm that there is indeed a post credit scene in Deadpool and Wolverine.

While it is not ‘setting up The Avengers’ level, you will be missing out if you don’t stick around.
Thankfully though, the post credits scene is not the only thing that will be keeping your attention through to the end of the credits.
How many post credits scenes are there in Deadpool & Wolverine?

In a surprisingly emotional move, the film plays a montage of behind-the-scenes featurettes from all the Fox Marvel films.
With 'Good Riddance' by Green Day playing (no I’m not kidding) we get to see BTS footage of the X-Men films from both generations, Elektra, and even The Fantastic 4.
Deadpool and Wolverine serves as the ending to that universe, and so it is a fitting scene that I am embarrassed to say pulled at my heart strings.
Deadpool & Wolverine post credits scenes explained
Now for the main event, what every kid who would flip to the end of a book to find out the ending wants to know, the ending.

The point of no return - Warning: Massive spoilers ahead
Arguably the biggest cameo in the film is the return of Chris Evans, but not as who you’d expect.
The movie sets you up to expect him to be returning as Captain America, before the reveals that he is actually… the returning Johnny Storm from The Fantastic 4!

Bad news though kids, because as soon as he comes back into our lives, he leaves once again, with Cassandra Nova quite literally pulling his skin off and leaving him for dead.
This is done after the film implies that Deadpool has made up a series of graphic insults Johnny supposedly said about Nova, with Wolverine and Johnny’s reaction implying he made them up to antagonize her.
Wolverine even states multiple times that Deadpool ‘got him killed’.
The post-credits scene, however, reveals that the Merc with a Mouth was *not* lying, and shows Evans as Johnny going on an expletive laden rant about Cassandra.
It is thoroughly bizarre to see the squeaky-clean face of Captain America go on an NC-17 level rant - but here we are.
Deadpool and Wolverine is in cinemas now.
