Fans have been left fuming after Marvel appears to have let slip all of the celebrities who will cameo in the hotly anticipated Deadpool and Wolverine.
Anyone invested in an ongoing show or upcoming film will be familiar with how the internet can become an figurative minefield of spoilers.
You might be waiting with baited breath to see how Robb Stark's budding young family is going to turn out in Game of Thrones, only to be left horrified when you happen across The Red Wedding.

This might be yesteryear's spoilers, but the principle remains the same.
In the case of Marvel's latest movie Deadpool and Wolverine, however, it wasn't errant social media posts, but the movie's own premiere which has left fans throwing up their hands in exasperation.
The movie sees Ryan Reynolds return for the third movie featuring Deadpool, with Hugh Jackman once again polishing off his claws to play Wolverine.
But it wasn't plot points which the movie has spoiled at its premiere, but the cameos featured. And a caveat that there are spoilers below for Deadpool and Wolverine - you have been warned.

The hotly anticipated movie will see a number of celebrity guests making cameo appearances.
These are people who have previously played Marvel characters in earlier iterations, both before the all-encompassing Marvel Cinematic Universe and outside of it.
The problem is that if you're going to have surprise celebrity cameos, it's probably not a great idea to then have them show up during any press events, like Comic Con for example.

Seems like a very efficient method of immediately giving the game away.
A number of celebrities were invited up on stage by Reynolds himself at the San Diego Comic Con.
Celebrities inlcude Wesley Snipes, Chris Evans, Jennifer Garner, Dafne Keen and Channing Tatum.
Comic book movie fans might recognise these actors as playing Blade, Johnny Storm, Elektra, X-23 and Gambit.

Fans were left fuming by how the 'surprise' cameos in the movie had been revealed before they had a chance to see it.
Taking to social media, one wrote: “So they already spoiling the ENTIRE cameos now. There’s no fun in that.”
A second posted: “Give fans/moviegoers a chance to see the film at the cinema! At this point you can’t ask fans not to spoil your movie’s surprises if you’re gonna do it yourself. Bad form.”

Meanwhile, a third posted: “Did the Marvel SDCC Panel really just spoil some of the biggest cameos in the movie the night the movie came out? Easy way to p*ss off the people who are TRYING to avoid the spoilers.”
Deadpool and Wolverine was released in the US on July 25 2024.
