Miller, however, will not be making an appearance.
Who does TJ Miller play in Deadpool?
TJ Miller plays Weasel, a non-powered friend of Deadpool's who knew him prior to his Weapon X-ification.
His character may not be the glue that holds the films together exactly, but he is given a large amount of screen time in the first two, and is one of Wade’s closest friends.
While it may be easy to write off his character for the sequel due to his lack of superpowers, both Rob Delaney's Peter and Karan Soni's Dopinder will be returning for the film despite being in similar positions.
What has TJ Miller said about Ryan Reynolds?
Back in 2022, Miller went on a tirade against Reynolds, accusing him of being 'horrifically mean' while filming the Deadpool series.

In an interview on the Adam Carolla Show, Miller said: “As the character, he was horrifically mean to me as if I’m Weasel.
"So, he was like, ‘You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition so that it’s funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.’”
He went on to say he would ‘never work with Ryan Reynolds again’, claiming that the success of Deadpool ‘changed him’.

Miller later seemed to backtrack and said it was all a 'misunderstanding' and he'd patched things up with Reynolds.
While the exact reason for Miller's absence from Deadpool & Wolverine has not been confirmed by Disney or Reynolds, allegations of sexual assault against Miller likely played a role in the actor not being invited back.
What allegations were made against TJ Miller?
TJ Miller was accused of sexual assault in 2017, in an article published by The Daily Beast.

A woman told a Daily Beast reporter that, during a sexual encounter with Miller, he choked and punched her, all without her consent.
She said: “He just tried a lot of things without asking me, and at no point asked me if I was all right.”
Miller has denied these allegations.
This is not the comedian's only allegations of bad behaviour however, as he was fired from Silicon Valley, the show that arguably propelled him to fame.

Showrunner Mike Judge told the Hollywood Reporter around the time of Miller's departure: "There are a lot of different ways you can find out somebody doesn’t want to do the show anymore.
“And it’s not fun to work with someone who doesn’t want to be there, [especially when] they’re one of the main people and you’ve got however many crewmembers and extras and people who are [not paid as well] and they’re all showing up before 7am, and then are just like, ‘Oh, OK, we’re not shooting today."
Silicon Valley co-star Alice Wetterlund also came forward against Miller, tweeting: “TJ Miller was a bully and petulant brat.”
She went on to blame his male co-stars for enabling his behaviour, with HBO releasing a statement saying they were ‘disappointed to learn of her concerns’.
UNILAD has contacted TJ Miller's reps for a comment.
