Netflix’s new action flick has left viewers seriously unimpressed with one even suggesting it may be the ‘worst’ film they’ve ever seen. If that hasn’t put you off, you can check out the trailer here:
Interceptor has made its way to the top spot of Netflix’s most watched list in several countries, including the UK, but a slew of viewers have warned others against giving it a watch.

The movie landed on Netflix on 3 June, and centres on army Captain J.J. Collins (played by Elsa Pataky) who learns of a simultaneous coordinated attack that threatens the remote missile interceptor station she is in command of by the ‘charming but crooked’ Alexander Kessel (Luke Bracey), a former US military intelligence officer who is dead set on causing mass destruction.
She then faces the unenviable task of having to thwart Kessel’s evil plan; or as, Netflix puts it: “With only minutes on the clock, Collins must utilise her years of tactical training and military expertise to determine who she can trust and stop Kessel and his covert mercenaries from completing their twisted and terrible mission.”
However, despite a thrilling-sounding synopsis and a brief cameo from Chris Hemsworth, who was executive producer, viewers have not been won over.

Posting on Twitter one said: “Interceptor might be one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen, but sadly I stuck it out. Even more sadly it’s number one on Netflix.”
Another said: “Watching Interceptor on Netflix, it may be the worst film I’ve ever seen in my life. Cheap, tacky and awful acting. Save your time and don’t bother.”
While a third commented: “This movie is a joke. This must have been a parody please. No way they were serious. Nope.”

Someone else wrote: “If you are looking for a movie to watch on Netflix, Interceptor is to be avoided at all costs. I repeat, do not go there.”
Meanwhile, the flick has a less-than-impressive 4.5 on IMDB and has earned itself a critics’ score of just 44 percent on review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes, while the audience rating is an even lower 25 percent.
But not everyone hated it, one fan took to Twitter to say: “I absolutely enjoyed the hell out of Interceptor and its throwback qualities to the films I grew up with.”
And another wrote: “Well checked out Interceptor on Netflix. If you like action and some unrealistic action, this movie is for you. You can not take this movie seriously, but it is fun with some great action sequences. Definitely some blood and gore.”
