Fans have been taking the opportunity to rewatch this classic movie from 2014 and are calling on others to do the same before it leaves Netflix.
Christopher Nolan has a long list of brilliant films and is easily considered one of his generation's best directors.
The Dark Knight, Inception and Oppenheimer... where do you start?

This is why fans are clamouring to watch one of his best films, arguably one of the best movies ever, before it leaves Netflix on April 1, 2025.
The film was released in 2014 and pretty much killed it at the box office, taking home a haul of $760m.
Not only that, but its cultural impact has also clearly lasted the test of time, as it even had a limited re-release in cinemas in December last year.

I’m talking, of course, of the Matthew McConaughey-led film, Interstellar.
For those who somehow haven’t seen it, Joseph Cooper (McConaughey) is tasked with leaving for space to find humanity a new planet to call home after Earth becomes inhabitable.

Even though it may sound like it, the film is so much more than a straightforward sci-fi film plot and people on social media certainly agree.

Since it landed on Netflix, people have been quick to come up with new theories and notice new 'details' upon their rewatch, and viewers took to Twitter to encourage other film lovers to take their chance to watch it on the streaming platform before it leaves.
One user wrote: “Interstellar leaves Netflix on Monday. My kids haven’t seen it yet. So you can imagine what we’re doing today...”
Another said: “Netflix is removing interstellar tomorrow so of course i have to rewatch it duh," while a third added: “Interstellar last day on Netflix today. Go watch that masterpiece. You’re welcome.”

Another wrote: “#Netflix is getting rid of #Interstellar (again) at the end of the month. So had to watch it again of course. Man, Nolan can do no wrong. Still love this movie.”
Someone else said it was their 'fav film' and a 'masterpiece', adding: "I’ve watched it 4 times and I’m itching to watch it again as it’s on Netflix. But my biggest fear and worry in life is always the same, time.
“And whenever i watch it i have deep emotional responses and ruminate about life too much.”
If these words aren’t enough to get you to give the sci-fi epic a go, the film has maintained impressive scores on Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB.
