It's the moment we've all been waiting for: the trailer for Deadpool 3 is here.
And it's just as good as we'd hoped:
A new update on the movie has been a long time coming, with almost four years having gone by since we last saw Ryan Reynolds squeeze into the tight red suit and share some of his deadpan Deadpool humor.

Not only that, but more than a year has past since we heard the incredible news that Reynolds' longtime frenemy Hugh Jackman would be joining him in the third instalment as Wolverine.
Since then we've been drip-fed insights and pictures through social media, but this is the first time we've really seen Deadpool back in action.
The trailer offers more insights to Reynolds' previous claim that the new movie would take the Deadpool franchise in a 'completely different direction'.

While that news, combined with Disney's acquisition of Fox, might have led some to fear that we wouldn't be getting the same Wade Wilson we've come to know and love, the trailer indicates he'll still be as entertaining as ever.
Writer Rhett Reese has also previously assured that things wouldn't be changing too drastically.
Speaking in 2022, he said: "[Disney] are gonna let Deadpool be Deadpool, you know?
"It's not like any particular joke may be the one that they say: 'You know, that's too far'. That could happen, but to this point, it's been nothing but support."

Of course, one thing that will be changing is that Jackman will be introducing Wolverine into the MCU for the first time.
The actor spoke in 2022 about exactly how Marvel made this possible, saying: "All because of this device they have in the Marvel world of moving around timelines now, we can go back because it's 'science'. And so I don't have to screw with the Logan timeline, which was important to me, and I think probably to the fans, too."

Jackman isn't the only actor to be joining the Deadpool family; Reynolds will also be joined in the new film by British star Emma Corrin, who is set to play the lead villain.
Succession star Matthew Macfadyen will also be making his MCU debut, while Stefan Kapičić is set to return in his role of Colossus.
Unfortunately fans will have to wait a little bit longer than initially expected for Deadpool 3, with the release date having been pushed back from 3 May from 26 July due to the Hollywood strikes.
However, with the first trailer now here, we're officially on the way!
