The trailer for Deadpool 3 is finally here! And I, for one, cannot wait.
A new update on the movie has been a long time coming, with almost four years having gone by since we last saw Ryan Reynolds squeeze into the tight red suit and share some of his deadpan Deadpool humor.
Not only that, but more than a year has passed since we heard the incredible news that Reynolds' longtime frenemy Hugh Jackman would be joining him in the third instalment as Wolverine.

Since then we've been drip-fed insights and photos through social media, but this is the first time we've really seen Deadpool back in action.
During this year's Super Bowl, we finally got her first look at the hugely anticipated flick.
The trailer offers more insights to Reynolds' previous claim that the new movie would take the Deadpool franchise in a 'completely different direction'.

Following the announcement, Jackman has provided a hilarious new title for Deadpool 3 to 'fix it'.
Taking to Instagram just minutes after the trailer aired, Jackman posted a parody of the Deadpool 3 logo which reads: "Wolverine & A**hole."
Alongside that film poster mockup, the actor penned: "Fixed it."
Never change, Hugh.

Back in 2022, Jackman spoke about how Marvel made it possible for Wolverine to be introduced into the MCU for the very first time.
"All because of this device they have in the Marvel world of moving around timelines now, we can go back because it's 'science'. And so I don't have to screw with the Logan timeline, which was important to me, and I think probably to the fans, too," he said.
Jackman isn't the only actor to be joining the Deadpool family; Reynolds will also be joined in the new film by British star Emma Corrin, who is set to play the lead villain.

Succession star Matthew Macfadyen will also be making his MCU debut, while Stefan Kapičić is set to return in his role of Colossus.
Unfortunately fans will have to wait a little bit longer than initially expected for Deadpool 3, with the release date having been pushed back from 3 May from 26 July due to the Hollywood strikes.
As for on the field at the 2024 Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers are battling it out at Nevada's Allegiant Stadium, as each team competes to take home the coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy.
