Robert Pattinson claimed he'd do 'art house porn' on one condition ahead of the release of The Batman this week.
Now, the actor is likely looking forward to the imminent release of The Batman, his much anticipated superhero movie where he dons the famous cape and cowl of the Dark Knight.
The Batman began as a Ben Affleck solo vehicle for his version of the caped crusader, with the actor expected to direct the movie as well as star in it, but Affleck dropped out of the project and the film ended up in Matt Reeves' hands.

According to IMDb, it's one of the most highly anticipated films of 2022, which may not be surprising since fans have had to wait a little longer than expected since the pandemic knocked the June 2021 release date back by months.
However, despite the hype surrounding the movie, there might be some hoping the film is a surprise flop after comments Pattinson made a few years ago about his career resurfaced.
Pattinson told The Guardian in 2019 he would switch to 'art house porn' if The Batman ended up being a failure.

The former Twilight heartthrob followed his box-office busting success as a sparkly vampire by making a name for himself as an actor in a series of lower profile independent movies, The Batman represents his first leading role in a big movie for some time.
If it somehow fails, despite all the hype and critical acclaim, then it's nice to know Pattinson has the next steps of his career planned out.
When discussing how he himself is his biggest critic and how he always expects the worst-case scenarios, he said his solution would be, 'Porn. But art house porn,' if one of these scenarios were to play out.
It's not the first time the actor has suggested he might turn his back on the limelight, as he previously said he had considered quitting acting following a disastrous Twilight audition where he brought a guitar in but decided not to play it.

Unfortunately for anyone really desperate to see Pattinson switch his career to art house porn and give up on acting, early signs indicate that The Batman is going to be a huge success both critically and commercially.
Rotten Tomatoes notes that 86% of critics loved the film and gave it a positive review, while Variety is reporting that Warner Bros is targeting an opening weekend of at least $100 million in the US alone.
Starring alonside Pattinson's Bruce Wayne are Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, and Paul Dano as The Riddler.
