Weathers is joined by fellow survivors Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere), Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera) and Tara Carpenter (Jenna Ortega).
Mindy Meeks-Martin (Jasmin Savoy Brown) and her twin brother Chad (Mason Gooding) are also given another shot to come face-to-mask with Ghostface.
In the new trailer, the survivors can be seen banding together to try and take down Ghostface once and for all.

However, Ghostface is back and not 'like any other Ghostface' who has come before - spotted not only armed with knives but also a gun this time too.
Weathers finally gets the call and despite saying how it 'never works out for the dips**t in the mask,' soon finds out there definitely has 'never been one' like this Ghostface before.
"I'm something different," Ghostface warns.

One wrote: "NOT READY BUT ALSO SO READY!"
"This Scream feels different, Ghostface feels darker, more vengeful, more aggressive. I actually got goosebumps watching the trailer. I can’t wait to see this in the cinema," another commented.
A third added: "I like the aspect of this Ghostface trying to one up every Ghostface before but also seems like they revere the past as well based solely on the collection. Now the question is did this new killer get all the original killers' robes and collect them like that?"
A final resolved: "Looks like the most brutal killer yet."

Even Ghostface themselves has crept into the comments. The Twitter account wrote: "It's time. Let the bloody fun begin."
