Stranger Things fans have been blown away after Netflix pointed out a huge plot twist that most viewers had missed.
With anticipation ramping up for the finale of the fourth season of the Netflix ahead of its 1 July release, the platform have been teasing hints and clues over social media.
Ahead of the final two episodes, though, Netflix dropped a tiny detail from episode seven that most people had missed - that could have huge repercussions as to the the outcome of the season.

On Tuesday (28 June), the official Twitter account pointed out a scarcely noticed detail in a scene between Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Henry Creel (Jamie Campbell Bower).
We're now used to seeing both characters in Hawkins Lab in Eleven's memories of the past, and in episode seven - entitled The Massacre at Hawkins Lab - both characters are repeatedly seen in the recreational room which is decorated with a rainbow stripe on the walls.
What we didn't notice, though, was this: posting two stills side-by-side, one of Henry, and one of Eleven, Netflix simply captioned it: "When you spot that the rainbow behind him was UpSiDe DoWn..."

If you look at the photo you'll see that the rainbow stripe colours in Henry's photo are in fact - you guessed it - upside down!
This means means that Henry could have been in the Upside Down the entire time, which would perhaps explain his transformation into Vecna.
Fans of the show were stunned that they hadn't noticed that the colours of the rainbow were back-to-front in certain shots of season four.
One person wrote in the comments section: "Not me running back to this episode and my mind exploding."

Another said: "Omg we would have never noticed that."
A third replied: "But.... The upside didn't exist at this point! Mind blown."
A fourth person added: "Oh holery sheetballs never noticed that," while a fifth joked: "Plot twist: It's actually the right way up."

Netflix shared a trailer for the finale of Stranger Things last week, in an epic two-minute clip.
Dr Brenner is heard saying: "I know you're frightened, you're terribly frightened by what you've seen, but I'm not gonna lie to you, your friends are not prepared for this fight. Hawkins will fall" over a montage, although Eleven wants to get to Hawkins to save her friends.
There's not long to wait to find out if she will.
