Fans were delighted yesterday after Marvel Studios dropped the trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder.
The hugely-anticipated fourth instalment will see Chris Hemsworth make his return as the titular character, alongside Natalie Portman, whose character Jane Foster will take on the powers of Thor, as seen in the comics.
However, one clip from the trailer has really got fans talking. Take a look below:
The viral video posted yesterday on TikTok has suggested that Chris Hemsworth’s son Tristan might make an appearance in the new film.

The video compares a clip of Thor as a child, as seen in the trailer, with real-life footage of Tristan dressing up as his dad’s character.
In one clip, the pair even appear to be training alongside each other, with Tristan seemingly preparing for his breakout role.
TikTok user @therevengars captioned the video: “I think it looks like him but the costumes in the pictures are different. What do you think?”
Marvel fans were eager to weigh in on the theory, as the video has now racked up over 51,000 likes since being posted.

“Yes and then the older Thor is Liam [Hemsworth],” suggested one person.
“I hope that’d be really cool,” wrote another.
“Imagine saying I was in a film with my dad and I played Thor,” said a third. We could only dream.

A fourth person said: “He’s literally been training him for this role his whole life. Chris knew it was coming.”
“Wait omg it kinda looks like him,” added a fifth.
Meanwhile, fans have also been discussing Portman’s physical transformation for the role of The Mighty Thor, which has now been seen for the first time thanks to the trailer.

Fans gushed over the actress on social media, with one stating: "Umm..why does Natalie Portman have bigger arms than me. The trailer of Thor: Love and Thunder is making me excited and forcing me to start hitting the gym again.”
Another wrote: "JANE AS THE MIGHTY THOR IN THE THOR LOVE AND THUNDER TRAILER I'M SCREAMING."
A third Marvel fan pointed out how positive it is to see a female Thor. They said: "I cannot BELIEVE we get Lady Thor in a movie, finally. The fact that the MCU's finally progressing with the comics (at least this much, anyway) is wild."
Thor: Love and Thunder is set to be released in UK and US cinemas on 8 July this year – we can hardly wait.
