Beyoncé has revealed the date for her next album release.
Fans of the Queen of Pop have been desperately holding on for any information around new music from the star after her last release, The Lion King: The Gift, came out in 2020.
However, the wait will soon be over as Queen B has confirmed the date for her upcoming project, titled Renaissance.

The star recently deleted her profile pictures on all social media platforms, teasing fans that there was big news to come.
However, she has since updated her bios to read: "act iㅤㅤ ㅤRENAISSANCE ㅤㅤ ㅤ7.29."
Beyoncé's return is subsequently set to take off on 29 July, 2022.

The album is reported as having 16 tracks and is available to pre-save via Spotify and Apple Music.
Both platforms have spread the word about the upcoming release on Twitter.
Fans of the 'Best Thing I Never Had' singer have since flooded to social media in excitement over the announcement.

One eagle-eyed fan noted that the album is stated as being 'Act One' which suggests that there could be a sequel.
"RENAISSANCE ACT 1! Its a double album... Beyonce is giving us two albums," they said.
Another joked about the research they're going to have to do prior to listening to it. They commented: "me reviewing my history renaissance lessons from two years ago so i can understand beyoncé’s references in her new album."

A third was just completely overwhelmed with excitement. They repeated: "BEYONCÉ IS COMING JULY 29TH BEYONCÉ IS COMING JULY 29TH BEYONCÉ IS COMING JULY 29TH BEYONCÉ IS COMING JULY 29TH."
Other Beyoncé fans were quick to spy that the singer had previously hinted at the title of her upcoming release in an interview with Harper's Bazaar in 2021.

The musician revealed to the outlet she had been in the studio 'for a year and a half,' recording throughout the pandemic.
Addressing what she had in store for her next release, she said: "I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again. I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible."
The singer also noted that even 'after 31 years,' creating music feels 'just as exciting as it did when [she] was nine years old'.
Beyoncé resolved: "There's nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio."
Renaissance Act One is set for release on 29 July.
