Britney Spears is famed for hitting high pitches in her songs.
From 'Everytime' to 'Baby One More Time', there's very few notes that the pop princess can't reach.
And pop music seems to have always been Britney's go-to genre but it turns out she's also pretty good at folk and country music too.
In a viral video shared to TikTok of the songstress performing during her four year-long Las Vegas residency back in 2017, Britney casually chats to the audience.

She begins by saying that it feels 'illegal' standing on stages without her music.
"I've been doing a lot of thinking lately, right?" she then went on to say.
Britney began to share that she'd been looking at the news that morning and had reflected on the way the press and media had treated her over years.
"It's really crazy because one minute they tear you down and it's really horrible, and the next minute you're on top of the world," the singer went on.

"I've never really spoke about it, and I'm a Southern girl - I'm from Louisiana.
"I'm from the South and I like to keep it real so I just wanna make sure I keep giving you motherf***ers something to talk about, okay?"
The 'Toxic' singer then went on to sing Bonnie Raitt's 'Something To Talk About' and had you not been looking at Britney performing, you probably wouldn't have known it was her.

People have since gone wild for the clip, which has amassed over 16 million views.
"She sounds exactly like she did on star search! That’s her real voice," wrote one Britney fan.
"Its a shame they never trained her to sing in this register because you can tell she has potential," said another.
Another surprised person penned: "All these years, I have never heard her sing like that!"

And what's even more surprising is the video also received a comment from 2000's icon, Paris Hilton, who simply wrote: "QUEEN."
Elsewhere, others have called for Britney to take a leaf out of Taylor Swift's book and record her songs with her so-called 'real' voice.
Someone suggested: "She should re-record her music with her real voice."

"When do we get a (Britney's Version) of all of her albums?" asked another.
Echoing similar sentiments, a third person said: "She should re-release all her big hits and most loved songs in her real voice!"
Others went as far as saying that the 41-year-old should release a country and rock album.
However, Britney recently said that music 'isn't [her] focus' at the moment.
"Pushing forward in my music career is not my focus at the moment,” she wrote in her memoir, The Woman in Me, which hit shelves in October.
