Just as we thought things might be resolved between Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears, the 'Mirrors' singer has appeared to take a fresh swipe at his ex.
Timberlake and Spears dated for around three years in the early 00s and were America's 'It Couple' at the time.
But things seemingly ended on a sour note between the two stars as it was rumored that Spears had cheated on Timberlake, leaving the former NSYNC singer heartbroken.
The 'Circus' hitmaker addressed the reports in the tell-all 2023 memoir The Woman in Me and admitted that she'd kissed choreographer Wade Robson while dating Timberlake.

The celebrity pair 'moved past it and stayed together', but it sparked a slamming match between Timberlake and Spears following their split in 2002.
It's believed that Spears' unfaithfulness inspired Timberlake's song 'Cry Me A River'.
In the wake of her huge revelations in her memoir, Spears has recently issued an apology.
"I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry," she penned online.

While she didn't name Timberlake in her apology, she went on to rave about his new single 'Selfish' and said she's 'in love' with it.
Undeniably it looked like Spears was waving a white flag in regards to her years-long feud with Timberlake, but the Reptile star might not be done yet.
Timberlake performed at Irving Plaza in New York on Wednesday night (January 31) and ahead of singing 'Cry Me A River', it looked like he took a fresh swipe at Spears.

"I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f***ing nobody," he said to the crowd - and people have since had a lot to say.
Taking to Reddit, one person wrote: "I wish Britney hadn’t issued a sincere apology. This man deserves none of her sympathy."
"I’m not even a Britney fan, but this is such an a**hole move for him," fumed another.

"Such a clear indicator of who he is, especially since she just said something positive about his new song & apologized?"
Elsewhere, someone else labeled Timberlake's remarks as 'immature, tacky, ungrateful, graceless, [and] lacking empathy'.
Another person went on: "This a huge slap in the face to Britney, who JUST posted an apology to him with free promo for his new music. Damn."
UNILAD has contacted Timberlake's and Spears' representatives for comment.
