Drake and his dad Dennis Graham have been called out by tattoo artist Money Mike for breaking the ‘unwritten rule’ of tattooing.
The tiff kicked off on Monday (8 August) when Drake posted a portrait of himself inked onto his dad’s arm. Poking fun at the piece, the hit-maker wrote: “I was just sitting here thinking why you do me like this we family.”

Drake’s post vexed Money Mike, who needled the portrait into Dennis’s arm four years ago, with Mike not only noting that the reason the tattoo looked slightly dodgy is because Dennis had asked him to be quick, but also calling Drake’s dad out for having the work touched up by other artists, saying ‘it’s an unspoken rule in the tattoo game to not go over someone else's work’.
Speaking to TMZ, Mike said that he met Dennis back in 2017 at a birthday party, and the rapper’s dad asked him to tatt Drake’s face onto his arm.
According to Mike - who isn’t a fan of Drake’s music - he agreed to do the work for free, hoping it would drum up clients.

Mike admitted to the outlet that the work wasn’t his best, but said that was because Dennis was in so much pain at the four-hour mark that he rushed Mike to wrap up the job.
The tattooist also insisted that Dennis initially loved the piece, but ‘once Drake saw the tat everything changed’.
When Mike gave Dennis the tattoo four years ago, he shared the work on his website, writing: “Had the honour and privilege of tattooing @champagnepapi father's portrait on the man himself @therealdennisg.

“Thank you again Dennis for the hospitality and for letting me do this for ya. CHUUUCH.”
In 2018, Dennis got the tattoo touched up by Toronto-based artist Inal Bersekov, who shared a before and after snap on Instagram.
UNILAD has approached Drake and Mike for comment.
Commenting on Drake’s post, Dennis wrote: “I love you and miss you,” before adding: “Hahaha I had 16 people to try and straighten this out, they’re hurting me.”

Unsurprisingly, Drake’s post had people in stitches, with many taking the opportunity to poke fun at the design.
American comedian Druski commented: “NA MAN,” while DJ Derrick Jones, better known by his stage name D-Nice commented: “I’m in tears.”
