People are flooding to social media in heated debate over a secret fries hack shared by a former McDonald's employee.
If you've ever visited McDonald's, you probably don't put too much thought into ordering a carton of fries. At most, you question which size and debate which sauce you may accompany the side with, not thinking there can be any more to it.
However, one TikToker who claims they used to work at the fast food chain, has since revealed there's a little known request you can add to your fries order which makes all the difference to your experience of the meal.
Ruby Guest - who goes by @rubyguestt on the platform - took to TikTok last week to reveal the 'BEST maccas combo'.

In the video, she says: "Stop scrolling and here me out. I am a former Maccas employee and if you have not done this with your fries, you need to."
But what is the miracle tip which is meant to send your fries experience to a completely different level?
Well, Ruby - who lives in Victoria, Australia - recommended asking for 'Angus seasoning on your fries'.

"It is literally the best thing. Like so much better than normal salt," she continued. "It tastes so good, like Maccas fries are already amazing, but with Angus seasoning, urgh, so good."
However, her tip has received some extremely differing responses.
Some people have flooded to the post in praise of the hack, noting they already do it themselves.
One TikToker wrote: "As a Maccas manager I can confirm it’s so so good."

"I thought we were original," a second joked.
A third added: "When I first met my husband he worked at Maccas and we always had Angus seasoning on our fries!!! literally so bomb, everyone needs to try it."
And another suggested: "Angus seasoning on nuggets with big mac sauce."
Although, others haven't been quite so enthusiastic about the tip.

One user said: "Maccas fries are NOT amazing. I can’t remember the last time I got hot, fresh, salty fries. Always cold, soggy and tasteless."
Although, Ruby notes she 'always' makes sure to ask for her fries 'fresh'.
Another commented: "I asked at my local Maccas today and they said no."
