A model has been slammed by a popular gymfluencer after she posted a video of her dressed in what appeared to be lingerie walking around a gym while people worked out around her.
Elma Bayliss, of New York, received a bit of a roasting after uploading the video to her TikTok account, and it didn't take long before bodybuilder Joey Swoll slammed her for filming the video he labeled 'embarrassing'.

Taking to Twitter he posted a video with the caption: "Dresses inappropriately to get attention at the gym and NO ONE looks! How embarrassing!"
Speaking in the recording, Swoll says: "Can you imagine going to the gym dressed like this for attention and not one single person looks at you? So you go back you do the walk a second time and still nobody looks at you. How embarrassing.
"Just imagine if a man did something like this, he would be arrested immediately.

"But there is one thing I do like about this video. I know there's a lot of people out there that's scared, have a lot of anxiety about going to the gym because you think people are going to watch you or stare at you... this is proof that nobody cares. Go to the gym and do you."
Before adding: "To this woman: I hope somebody recognizes this gym and they kick your ass out. You need to do better! Mind your own business."
But the model has since hit back, posting a video on her own Instagram explaining that she was at a photoshoot and to get to where they were shooting content she had to walk through the gym.

Bayliss then took to the caption of the video to share her statement.
"When you advice to 'do better' but don’t follow your own advice," it read.
"Bullying is something that a lot of men and women go through in their lives but rarely speak about. For you it might be a simple joke but for another person it could be the turning point of their life, and even lead to the end of it.
"You never know how your words can affect someone and before you speak, it’s a good idea to think of those consequences because you might become the reason leading to someone’s attempt of a suicide."

Bayliss' statement continued: "I know Joey was trying to do the right thing and we need people like him to call on the inappropriate behavior in a public place but if you want to do the RIGHT thing you gotta do it the RIGHT WAY. Otherwise you are just a bully and you are responsible for the consequences of your actions as we all are, me including.
"As I mentioned, I was hired as a runway model and seeing not very thought through set up and being uncomfortable or even unsafe (I almost got hit by a ball when we were getting ready) inspired me to make this video.
"It’s 2 different environments that should not be coexisting which I thought would be funny to capture. Maybe I was wrong? But before you jump into judgment ask yourself if you are always right."
