In a world we live in today, not even athletes are exempt from public scrutiny.
Whether it’s your teeth, skin or hair, there’s always someone on the internet ready to ask personal questions about whether what you’ve got is fake.
But one NBA player just isn’t having it this time.

Devin Booker is fighting for his life online after a viral video of his hair caused fans to speculate about whether he was rocking a wig or his natural mop.
But Booker is continuing to claim that he’s the owner of his hair and that his fans have got him ‘messed up’ over the questions.

The video shows a person with their face blocked out, however, it was said to have been the NBA player with a large bald spot on the top of his head.
With glue on his head and a stylist ready with a toupee, people believe it’s Booker as his facial hair and finished hair style looks incredibly similar.
As many fans began querying who it could be, the 27-year-old was at the top of the list for many, and they weren’t keeping their thoughts quiet.
After so many calls for Booker to admit his hair situation, the athlete took to X, formerly Twitter to deny the claims and put them to bed once and for all.

He wrote: “Yall got me messed up lol.”
Booker is the ex-boyfriend of major celebrity, Kendall Jenner, so it’s no surprise this pretty boy is feeling betrayed by his fans lack of faith in his image.
But unless we get results for who actually wore that damned toupee, it could follow him forever.

In the comments of the OG hair video, commenters went wild with naming Booker in the comments.
One person wrote: “Is that booker?”
Another said: “Tell me this ain’t Devin Booker.”
Someone else wrote: “Side profile kinda looks like Devin booker.”

Now, that’s not fair to be naming and shaming like that.
It’s not uncommon for NBA players to go bald and I’m sure there’s a whole catalogue of them to call out for wearing a hair piece!
However, a lot of people debunked the rumour on the video and it seems like at least a few people have a level head and can see through smart marketing tactics.
The person wrote: “This ain’t a NBA player.. I think this is just to get more views on video.”
