The Weeknd has proved he’s as stellar as celebs come by surprising a six-year-old fan who was photographed crying outside one of his shows.
Earlier this month, Phoenix Prince and his dad Blake Prince were among concert-goers lining up outside the Rogers Centre in Toronto, only to find out the show had been postponed.
Phoenix, who showed up wearing a suit that was nearly identical to the one worn by The Weeknd in his Blinding Lights video, was so gutted that he started crying. Someone snapped a photo of Phoenix when he was upset, which ended up in front of The Weeknd himself.

After seeing the snap, the musician published a call-out on Twitter, asking fans to send Phoenix’s details his way.
The internet had Phoenix’s back and connected the youngster with his all-time favourite musician, who invited Phoenix to his show in Philadelphia on Thursday (14 July).
In a new photo, Phoenix and The Weeknd were seen posing side-by-side, with Phoenix looking as dope as ever in his swanky red suit.

The Weeknd kicked off his After Hours Til Dawn tour at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field last night, but had hoped to start his string of stadium dates at the show Phoenix and his dad showed up for in Toronto, days earlier.
His performance was cancelled after the Canadian venue was hit by a series of service outages, prompting the hit-maker to say in a statement: “I’m crushed and heartbroken.
“Been at the venue all day but it’s out of our hands because of the Rogers outage. Operations and safety are compromised and I tried my absolute best.”

The star added: “This one hurts the most, and we will make this show happen, but unfortunately not tonight.
“I know how long you’ve been waiting and how hard a lot of you worked to make it to the show and experience this moment with me. I can’t wait to see you all.”
The Weeknd - real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye - was born in Toronto and at just 34 he already has a handful of record-breaking releases under his belt.

His last album, Dawn FM, saw an impressive 24 songs listed on Billboard’s Global 200 chart and the musician has also headlined a Super Bowl halftime show.
Last year, The The Weeknd announced he’d no longer be submitting his music to the Grammys - despite already having three gongs to his name.
