Especially over the summer months, many travel videos flood our TikTok feeds, providing near-endless content to enjoy.
While some of them just make us jealous of those on holiday, others make us pretty confused and need to ask a few questions.
One particular Reddit video is certainly the latter, as a plane seems to stop mid-air.

The footage, which is actually filmed by a passenger from another aircraft, shows a plane seemingly coming to a complete stop in the air.
As a result, many have questioned whether it's a 'glitch in the matrix', after seemingly seeing the footage.
The video has seen many Redditors head to the comment section, and it's fair to say a lot of them are certainly rather baffled.
"I experienced this in a car full of people. I saw a plane that was matched up with us and I'm like 'uhhhh anyone else seeing this plane not moving?' And I'm so glad everyone else saw it," one person penned.

A second added: "The video didn't play so I was really confused. Then the video did play and I become even more confused."
While a third remarked: "A failure of The Matrix."
Others did provide a more believable solution though, with one person writing: "Strong headwind and a low indicated air speed coupled with a trick of perspective."

The video is actually not the first time the internet has been left baffled by planes seemingly being left ‘stopped still in the air’, as one viral TikTok earlier this year revealed.
In the video, TikTok user Tania is in a car driving along a road, as she spots a passenger plane in the air above the traffic.
The plane appears to be stationary, leading Tania to cry out: "I told you! I told you! Did I not tell you? That is f**king crazy! Bro!"
Tania wrote: "Glitch in Matrix? This isn't the first time I've seen this in Chicago either."

Other TikTok users shared their confusion in the comments.
One wrote: "I would've had to pull over & get out to make sure I was seeing this correctly…. This is wicked lol."
Thankfully, there is a simple explanation for all of this, thanks to a certain expert.

Metro's science and technology reporter Jeff Parsons was commenting on another video showing a suspended plane from a moving car, writing: "In all likelihood the motion of the car is counteracting the slowing down of the plane - possibly as it comes in to land.
"Add to that the shifting perspective of the camera and it could seem as if the plane was stationary in the air."
