An Airbnb host is being faced with a tenant who is refusing to leave his million-dollar home in LA, meaning he's missed out on thousands of dollars.
Dentist Sascha Jovanovic previously rented out the luxury accommodation in Brentwood, LA, to guests via Airbnb, but the last two years he's been dealing with a 'tenant from hell'.
In 2021, Elizabeth Hirschhorn rented the home for six months and two years later, she's still there and refusing to leave.
While the home is said to be worth a whopping $3.8 million, it's reported that Hirschhorn hasn't paid a single dime in rent in over a year.

Her occupancy was supposed to end in March 2022, but Jovanovic agreed to extend her stay until April.
But Hirschhorn still didn't leave, sparking the well-known dentist to file an eviction notice.
Apparently the pair agreed a fee of $105 a night when Hirshhorn first moved in - $110 cheaper than what was advertised on Airbnb.
The woman has reportedly paid $20,793 for the first chunk of rent, but has refused to pay since April 2022.

While Jovanovic filed an eviction notice, a judge went on to rule in Hirschhorn's favor as it was found that Jovanovic's property wasn't cleared for rental purposes so she technically didn't owe him anything.
As well as this, the the guesthouse is violating another Department of Building and Safety's code after the owner built in a shower that wasn't approved.
With the judge's ruling in mind, Jovanovic is now suing Hirschhorn in two different cases: a damages complaint to recoup $58,000 in paid rent, and an appeal of the judge’s decision to dismiss the eviction case.

As per reports, Hirschhorn has been squatting at the property for at least 540 days. If she were to have paid the original fee of $105 per night, her total she would owe Jovanovic stands at $56,700.
This doesn't include any cleaning or other additional charges that are often added on to the final fee after renting an Airbnb property.
But, while Jovanovic is arguing that Hirschhorn owes him money, she's wanting an eye-watering $100,000 from him to leave the property.

In Hirschhorn countersuit, she has accused the Airbnb host of 15 different violations including including negligence, nuisance, intentional infliction of emotional distress.
As the lawsuit continues to play out in court, Hirschhorn remains in the $3.8 million home.
Her lawyer's have branded the Airbnb property as a 'bootleg unit' and accused Jovanovic of 'bullying'.
UNILAD has previously contacted Airbnb on the matter.
