Skull Island: Rise of Kong was developed by the gaming studio IguanaBee, a Chilean-based studio who are certainly a smaller player in the gaming industry.
While announcing its release date earlier this year, GameMill, the publisher of the game described Skull Island: Rise of Kong as an “exhilarating, third-person action-adventure game [that] lets you become Kong on a journey of vengeance as you fight to claim your rightful place as King of Skull Island”.
However, for a lot of people it has been anything but, with many flocking to social media to let fellow gamers know their thoughts.
Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which released earlier this year, had been dubbed by many as the 'worst game of the year' though many believe that this new King Kong game surpasses it.
