Jeff Bezos has put his luxury $39,000,000 private jet up for sale

Jeff Bezos has put his luxury $39,000,000 private jet up for sale

The aircraft is on sale for just a tiny percentage of Jeff Bezos' net worth

If you've ever wanted to ride in style like a billionaire, now's your chance.

Jeff Bezos appears to be selling one of his four private jets - but you'll need a spare $39 million to snap it up.

While it might take you or I a lifetime - and then some - to afford the jet, it's on sale for just tiny percent of Bezos' $220.3 billion net worth.

The Amazon founder's Gulfstream G650ER was spotted on aircraft marketplace Controller by aviation enthusiast Jack Sweeney.

He shared details of the listing on Twitter.

Registered N271DV, the jet was purchased in 2016 for around $65 million.

It has flown some 224 hours across 73 flights this year alone, costing an estimated $677,000 in fuel and emitting about 1,100 tons of carbon, according to JetSpy data.

The listing photos show off the jet's exterior, including its almost 100-foot wing-span, as well as its luxurious interior.

The tan-and-white cabin features enough single seats and couches - hand-crafted, of course - to accommodate up to 16 passengers.

Converting into beds, they offer the utmost comfort needed for those longer journeys.

The G650ER doesn't skimp on scenic views either, with sixteen panoramic oval windows, the 'largest in aviation business', according to its website.

And would it really be a private jet fit for a billionaire without meeting rooms, restrooms and TVs on board?

Another added enhancement is Gulfstream's clean air system, which delivers '100 percent fresh air every two to three minutes'.

Its air-ionizing technology also 'neutralizes allergens and viruses' - enough to make your blood boil the next time you're squeezed in between two strangers in economy class.

As per Business Insider, Federal Aviation Administration data shows the jet is registered to holding company Poplar Glen LLC. Washington state records from 2004, when the firm was created, show that Bezos owns the company.

Bezos purchased a Gulfstream G700 for $80 million in August, which boasts an updated wing and improved Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines in comparison to the G650ER.

He also owns another G650ER and a Pilatus PC-24.

But it's not always been about the flashy purchases for the third-richest man in the world.

He is perhaps, in some ways, more humble and you'd assume: Bezos reportedly continued to drive his 1997 Honda Accord for years after becoming a billionaire, according to Brad Stone’s book The Everything Store.

Don't let that distract you from his $220 billion net worth, though...
