Ben Affleck has revealed he had a line in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but it was dubbed over without his knowledge.
Before you go scrolling back through the nostalgic series though, Affleck actually appeared in the 1992 movie which went on to inspire the now-iconic show.
Although the film has largely been forgotten, Affleck still called the experience ‘humiliating’ as he spoke about his early career.
However, the Justice League actor shouldn’t feel too bad though about not making the cut as the 1992 B movie was also missing a key cast member: Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Instead, Kristy Swanson would play the titular vampire slayer alongside Hunger Games star Donald Sutherland – who appeared as a Giles-esque character called Merrick.
Though the movie is mostly forgotten today, writer Joss Whedon would get a second chance to see his vision come to life with the 1997 Buffy series.
As for Affleck, the actor-turned-director would brush off his embarrassing role, which went uncredited, and become one of the highest-paid stars in Hollywood.

Despite this, the Air actor seems a little scarred by his time on the horror-comedy.
He told host James Corden on The Late Late Show that finding out he’d been dubbed over was ‘humiliating’, especially as he had a single line.
When asked about being cut, the Batman Vs Superman star revealed that he moved just before getting the part.
“The most humiliating thing was one of my earlier parts, I got one line, I had just moved out to LA, I got a line in a movie, and I was playing a basketball player,” he explained.

Though it wasn’t the biggest part, the actor got stuck into his role and even joked about being scared on set.
"I was a basketball player that just happened to be playing high school basketball and like a werewolf or a vampire ran through and I got scared, ’cause he was scary, and I said, ‘Here you go,’ ‘Take it’ or ‘Take the ball’ or something like that,” revealed the Argo actor.
Though he’d convinced himself that his work was ‘good’ and he was ‘feeling’ the part, Affleck struggled to act afraid for the camera.

Continuing, he explained: "We did it a bunch of times, and I was like, ‘Boy, this director is really rigorous.’"
It was only when he watched the film in the cinema with his friends that he realised he hadn’t made the cut.
"I sounded very different. And I realized right then they rerecorded me," he admitted, adding: "I was so bad, they needed me to be in the scene, but the director was obviously like, ‘I can’t hear the voice again!’"
Affleck then joked: "They had to pay someone to come in and say, ‘Hey man, take it' because apparently, I couldn’t say that convincingly enough."
