Gwyneth Paltrow has been called out after she said children of celebrities have to work twice as hard to prove themselves.
Actor Gwyneth Paltrow said she believes nepotism babies have to work harder than everyone else in Hollywood, even though they had the 'unfair' advantage of getting their foot in the door easier.
She claimed that even if it's easier to get started in Hollywood as a child of nepotism, the scrutiny is far more intense and gives less room for mistakes.

The 49-year-old was speaking on Hailey Bieber's YouTube show Who's In My Bathroom when she made the comments, which haven't gone down very well with a lot of people.
In the same episode she also joked about having sex with Bieber's dad Stephen Baldwin, before quickly clarifying that she'd never done that.
Paltrow claimed that while so-called nepotism babies could get a foot in the door thanks to their connections, they had to 'work almost twice as hard' in order to prove themselves.

She said: "I mean, look, I think it’s fair because as the child of somebody, you get access that other people don’t have, so the playing field is not level in that way.
"However, I really do feel that once your foot is in the door which you unfairly got in, then you have to work almost twice as hard and be twice as good.
"People are ready to pull you down and say you don’t belong there and you’re only there because of your dad or your mom or whatever the case may be."
As you can imagine, quite a lot of people took issue with her comments that people who get a leg up in showbusiness from nepotism have to work harder than others once they get there.

One person wrote 'absolutely f**k off and then f**k off some more and then a bit more after that', following it up with 'then f**k off again'.
Someone else said Paltrow 'really lives in another universe', while a third commenter slated the actor for her 'delusion'.

Others argued that Paltrow, as the daughter of award-winning actress Blythe Danner, has benefitted from nepotism herself and doesn't really know how hard it is just to get your foot in the showbiz door.
More highlighted the really hard work involved getting your foot in the door in the first place, so even if nepotism babies had to work harder after making it, the real struggle was making it in the first place.
