Uncut Gems actor Julia Fox has opened up about her split from Kanye West following rumours the musician was using her to make Kim Kardashian jealous.
Fox and West were first spotted spending time together on New Year's Eve before confirming their relationship in January 2022, almost one year after Kardashian filed for divorce.
One month on and their whirlwind romance has now come to an end, indicated in Fox's decision to remove all evidence of West from her Instagram page. Meanwhile, Kardashian has been continuing her relationship with Pete Davidson.
Speculation has been rife throughout West and Fox's relationship as many people believed the musician was flaunting his romance in a bid to make his ex jealous. Sources cited by Buzzfeed claimed the relationship was 'a desperate play for attention', and just weeks before they started dating West publicly asked Kardashian to 'run right back' to him.

Though there's no indication that Fox was in on this apparent plot to catch Kardashian's eye, she indicated this week that West was interested in getting their romance in the news as she claimed the musician 'wanted' her to gush about him in the press.
Her claim came in response to an Instagram user who tagged her in a post and wrote: '@juliafox You talked about the man in the press like you were married. Just desperate for the attention. Wasn’t even 15mins, maybe like 2 mins of fame.'
In response, Fox wrote: 'he f*cking wanted me to!!!!!'
The actor has also made clear that she's not heartbroken over her split from West, despite reports claiming otherwise. She slammed a Daily Mail article for describing her as 'tearful', writing on her Instagram Story: '@dailymail yall are straight trash I haven’t cried since 1997 and I especially wouldn’t cry over THIS!!'

She later shared more details about the breakup, stating that the media would 'love to paint a picture of [her as] a sad and lonely woman crying on plane by [herself] but it’s NOT TRUE!!', adding: 'Why not see me for what I am which is a #1 hustler. I came up yall.'
Fox went on to claim that she and West are 'on good terms' following the split, saying she had 'love for him' but was not 'in love [with] the man' and asking: 'Jesus Christ what do u guys think I am 12 years old?!'
Last week, Fox told the Call Her Daddy podcast that West likely had some 'residual feelings' for his ex, though claimed at the time their relationship was 'all that matters'. Just hours after the podcast aired, West shared a collage of photos of Kardashian and their children and wrote: 'GOD PLEASE BRING OUR FAMILY BACK TOGETHER.'
