Billy Ray Cyrus has spoken out after his son pleaded for his father to get 'help'.
The country singer and father-of-six, including pop icon, Miley Cyrus, delivered a questionable performance during President Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony on Monday (January 20) which sparked some concern.
After witnessing the disastrous show, his adopted son, Trace Cyrus, took to Instagram to plead with the 'Achey Breaky Heart' hitmaker to get 'help'.
The heartbreaking letter read in part: "Since my earliest memories all I can remember is being obsessed with you and thinking you were the coolest person ever. I wanted to be just like you. The day you adopted me was the happiest day of my life.

"Sadly the man that I wanted so desperately to be just like I barely recognize now. It seems this world has beaten you down and it’s become obvious to everyone but you."
The 35-year-old and former Metro Station guitarist added the family have been 'genuinely worried' about Billy Ray 'for years' but claims he 'pushed all us away'.
"Noah desperately has wanted you to be a part of her life and you haven’t even been there for her. That’s your baby girl. She deserves better," he continued. "Somehow just like me she still idolizes you though. We are all hanging on to memories of the man we once knew and hoping for the day he returns. You’re not healthy Dad and everyone is noticing it. Just like I showed up for you at mamaws funeral when you didn’t expect me to I’m still here right now."

Tace said he wrote the post with 'tears' in his eyes before confessing he hadn't spoken to his father in some time while he personally reached a major milestone of 18 months sober from alcohol.
"I love you dad", he added. "I don’t know what you’re struggling with exactly but I think I have a pretty good idea and I’d love to help you if you would open up and receive the help. You know how to reach me. Till that day comes I will continue to pray for you."
Billy Ray's ex-wife, Firerose, also apparently echoed some of these concerns to Page Six, saying: "It’s very sad to see those same struggles continue for him, but I’m glad the truth is coming to light - for his potential good because healing is only possible when you confront the truth and accept there’s a problem."

Now, the 63-year-old has responded by sharing a clip of a YouTube video of him and Trace performing his 2009 record, 'Somebody Said a Prayer'.
Bill Ray captioned the footage: "Sunday callin'," and added: "Giving thanks for the California Rain. Praying for the brokenhearted and their pain. Praying for my family. For my children … sons and daughters…and their mother.
"Let this moment be the start of healing for us all," he continued with a bandaged heart emoji and ended with a quote: "'The past does not equal the future.' Amen."

The apparent olive branch comes as PEOPLE reported Miley is steering clear of any potential conflict with her loved ones as she faces bagging another Grammy at the 2025 awards for her contribution to Beyonce's album, 'Cowboy Carter'.
Meanwhile, Billy Ray has also been busy making a new album which his son, Braison Cyrus, is producing.
Braison also shared his thoughts about the apparent rift to PEOPLE, saying he doesn't have 'any bad feelings' towards anyone in the family and that he's got to know his dad 'better than ever' while working on the album.
