Chris Hemsworth has said he regrets taking a selfie with Billie Eilish for an unusual reason.
The 41-year-old Australian actor might seem like the ultimate 'Hollywood hunk,' particularly after his role as a rather chiselled God of Thunder, Thor, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
However, as it turns out, the celeb has his fair share of cringe moments just like the rest of us.

Appearing as a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday (March 26), Hemsworth took on the host's quick-fire round of questions where he shared an embarrassing moment with 23-year-old pop star Billie Eilish.
The Avengers actor said the blunder happened at the Oscars 2024 when the pair snapped a selfie - and it wasn't a wardrobe malfunction nor how he looked in the picture that humiliates Hemsworth to this day.
Colbert asked Hemsworth if he'd ever asked someone for their autograph to which he initially shrugged off, saying a 'long time ago' he'd asked a football player before revealing his awkward interaction with Eilish.

Hemsworth explained: "Actually, I got a photograph with Billie Eilish at the Oscars. And I remember thinking, 'Ah don't do it, don't do it,' but then I was like, 'No, my kids are gonna love this.'"
The movie star shares daughter, India, 12, and twin boys, Sasha and Tristan, 11, with his wife Elsa Pataky, who are apparently huge fans of the Californian singer-songwriter.
But immediately after taking it, the regret sunk in.

Hemsworth continued: "And then the moment I took it, I was like, ah, I went from work colleague to now like, a fan."
He said he feels the 'fan selfie' has only jeopardized his chances of befriending the 'Bad Guy' hitmaker, adding: "We will never be friends, never be best friends."
Colbert chased up to ask if the pair had actually worked together, to which Hemsworth laughed: "No, you know, same industry kind of colleague. Bumping shoulders."

It also isn't the first time the actor has taken some pics with fellow 'industry' celebs, even going so far as to break Met Gala rules last year on an apparent selfie quest.
Speaking to E! News at the event in May, Hemsworth said: "Selfies everywhere. A lot of selfies in my phone. Like, 'When did I take that? Let's delete that one.'"
The father-of-three said he was compelled to breach the strict Met Gala rule as he and Elsa live in Australia and became swept up with the excitement of the event.

"So any sort of big awards show, we haven't become jaded because it's still new and exciting," he said. "And this in particular, eclectic group of people, different than the normal crowd of, you know, film award shows we've been doing... sports people, musicians, artists, so we had a really fun night."
