When you think of the digs celebrities live in, I think most people's minds turn to ridiculously huge mansions, expensive technology, Olympic-size swimming pools, and fancy sports cars out front.
But Drew Barrymore shocked much of the internet earlier this year after she gave fans a glimpse of her home when she shared a video of herself watching The Wedding Singer.
She starred in the cult classic film with Adam Sandler, subsequently explaining to her followers she was getting ready to leave the house when it came on her TV.

"I was on my way to yoga class, and I'm [now] taking the next, later one so I could watch it," Barrymore said to the camera.
Tagging Sandler in the video caption, the 49-year-old wrote: "I love you so much @adamsandler. The Wedding Singer came on my TV as I was getting ready to leave the house and I had to take in this moment and watch it."
Obviously, many flocked to the comments section to dub the film as one of the best films to ever exist.

But there was certainly another topic of conversation... the surprisingly normal looking home the film producer lives in.
"Why is Drew Barrymore’s tv so small and bad. What’s going on. I’m unsettled," one person wrote on X.
That's the thing, we're used to celebrities showing off their massive homes and bespoke furniture.... Yes, Kim Kardashian, we're looking at you.
Barrymore, on the other hand, revealed a pretty basic living room.

Many have questioned whether Barrymore actually lived in the house, but that question has now been answered by the woman herself.
In a new TikTok video, the actor has shared even more insight into her simple home setup.
"I like staying in," Barrymore said as she filmed herself with multiple framed scenic paintings and a window with green velvet curtains surrounding her.

To show even further the normal life she lives, Barrymore was wearing a Minnie Mouse T-shirt and sweatpants as she fried eggs in the (reasonably small looking) kitchen.
People have flocked to the comments to say how everything looks pretty basic, including her gas cooker which seems pretty old in itself.
Large white cupboards are also seen in the background, but it really isn't on par with what we come to expect from celebrities' homes.

As for the rest of the house, Barrymore's closet is certainly no match to a lot of other celebs, though there is no questioning a personal touch is felt with framed photos.
Many have flocked to the comments section of the TikTok video after being left surprised by the sneak peek into Barrymore's home.
"I love that your house looks like a home and not just a show piece," one person wrote.
"I love that fact that she lives in a regular apartment doing normal things and just living her best life," a second echoed.
