Jamie Foxx has shared an update following his recent health complications.
Back in April, the actor suffered a medical issue while he was filming the movie Back in Action in Atlanta.
While it's not clear what happened to the 55-year-old, he and his family have been active on social media, providing updates to fans along his way.

And though the road to recovery for the actor is not over, Foxx has now shared another post with his millions of followers.
In a message on his Instagram account, the Collateral star explained that he was optimistic and that his health was definitely on the up.
Alongside a few photos of himself, Foxx wrote: "You’re lookin at a man who is thankful… finally startin to feel like myself… it’s been an unexpected dark journey… but I can see the light… I’m thankful to everyone that reached out and sent well wishes and prayers… I have a lot of people to thank… u just don’t know how much it meant… I will be thanking all of you personally… and if you didn’t know… GOD IS GOOD… all day every day… "

This isn't the first time Foxx has opened up about his recent health problems.
In another post shared to Instagram last month, the father-of-one said that he had been to 'hell and back'.

He also dispelled rumors that he had gone blind and was paralyzed, saying they were not true.
"I cannot even begin to tell you how far it took me and how it brought me back," Foxx said.
"I went through something I thought I would never ever go through."
He acknowledged that fans wanted constant updates surrounding his health as many feared the worse, but Foxx had a particular reason why he didn't want to do that.

"To be honest with you, I just didn't want you to see me like that," the actor said.
"I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie [or] television show.
"I didn't want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through."
