Kim Kardashian is GQ's 'Men of the Year' cover star for 2023, but it turns out there's a big reason why.
Each year, the popular magazine picks talented individuals to receive awards at its highly anticipated awards night.
Previous winners include British rapper Stormzy, Lord of the Rings star Ian McKellen and Andrew Garfield, to name a few.
This year, the likes of Travis Scott and Euphoria favorite Jacob Elordi are being honored - as well as Kim Kardashian.

Confused? You're not alone.
In her cover photos, the mum-of-four rocks a very 80s-esque suit while holding a bag of Cheetos.
Another snap shows the star sitting at a desk while answering the phone in a high-end looking office.
Following her cover debut for GQ, people took to X to voice their thoughts and, mainly, befuddlement.

"Who ever thought they see the day when Kim Kardashian graced the cover of the GQ ‘Men of the Year’ issue?" questioned one person.
"Bruhh whats happening? This doesn’t make any sense," added another.
"Is she a man ? Y'all have confused us enough," a third went on.
Another person fumed: "THIS IS HIGHLY RIDICULOUS."

But others were here for Kardashian's magazine cover.
"Kylie Jenner wins innovator for the year for a 2 week old brand and now Kim Kardashian is man of the year for GQ?! There’s truly nothing this family cannot do, wow, i'm so impressed," wrote one person.
"She actually looks better than the men of the year. She's beautiful," gushed a second.

Meanwhile, someone else asked: "It's 2023 why not everyone else is doing it?"
There is a reason why she's gracing the cover though, despite the backlash.

One of the main reasons Kardashian is likely to be the cover star is down to the fact she's about to release her own menswear range from her multibillion dollar brand, Skims.
Before its even hit the shelves, the business mogul has already signed a deal with the NBA to become its so-called the 'Official Underwear Partner'.
Didn't know that was a thing? Me neither.
She's had huge sports stars model the range, including Neymar Jr., Nick Bosa, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
And if that wasn't enough to keep Kardashian busy, Skims has also teamed up with Swarovski diamonds.
The range launched last week and items range from $48 to a staggering $95,000.

Who knows which business sector Kardashian will tackle next.
