Tobey Maguire says performing alongside Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield 'reinvigorated’ his love for acting.
The Great Gatsby dished the details on what it was like to return to the Spider-Man franchise in No Way Home.
Maguire described in No Way Home: The Art of the Movie how working with his fellow heroes formed a kind of brotherhood’, adding it was a ‘very rich experience’ for him.

Furthermore, the 48 year old said it even re-sparked his love for performing.
“Working with Andrew [Garfield] and Tom [Holland] was so dear to me, it really was special—a very rich experience for me, all around. It kind of reinvigorated my interest in performing,” he explained.
“It felt like a real brotherhood, which was what we were aiming for, too, for us and for the characters.

"But then to have those dynamics play out—feeling a real connection and love for these guys, and having fun and having a laugh—all of that was energizing and reinvigorating for me.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Maguire spoke of his onscreen reunion with Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina, who played Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus.

“It was amazing to work again with Alfred [Molina] and Willem [Dafoe]," he said.
"I just adore those guys and respect them as the great talents that they are and also just as lovely humans. It was a blast--it was like a reunion."

Last month, Holland revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that the trio has a group chat titled ‘The Spider-Boys’.

Holland also addressed replacing Garfield in the titular role in 2016 after Sony reportedly fired the actor.
The Brit said he regretted not approaching the A-lister and not clearing the air before taking the Spider-Man baton.

“If I’d made my second movie and it didn’t necessarily deliver in the way it should have done and they recast me, I would really struggle to bounce back," he said.
"Andrew bounced back in the most unbelievable way. I just wish I’d called him and just said, 'You know I can’t turn down this opportunity'."
