Selena Gomez has taken to social media to address fans following Hailey Bieber's interview, which saw her discuss whether or not she 'stole' Justin Bieber.
In an episode of Alex Cooper's podcast, Call Her Daddy, released on 28 September, for the first time ever, Hailey publicly addressed the online trolling and hate she has received for her relationship and marriage to 'Sorry' singer Justin Bieber.
Selena Gomez has since posted a live video to TikTok to respond to the interview and further address fans who continue to send Hailey nasty messages.

Gomez told followers that some of the comments Hailey has been sent - some of which she 'doesn't even need to be aware of' - are 'vile and disgusting'.
The 'Lose You To Love Me' singer continued: "And it's not fair and no one ever should be spoken to in the manner that I've seen.

"All I have to say is it's incredibly ironic that I would release something that is all about kind words, because that's exactly what I want. That's it."
While thanking fans for supporting her third studio album, Rare, Selena told followers they should 'also know they're representing what it means'.
"And that is, words matter. Truly matter. So, it ain't coming from me. And I just want all of you to know, that I hope you understand that this is much bigger than anything else," she said.

Selena added that she's 'really grateful' to everyone for 'hearing [her] out', concluding: "Have a wonderful rest of your day and I appreciate all the love, thank you."
Despite detailing how difficult it has been being on the receiving end of so much hate for her relationship with Justin, Hailey faced further backlash after her podcast interview.
One Twitter user said: "It’s actually crazy that hailey bieber went on a podcast to discuss her husband’s relationship with his ex. where’s the self respect"

"Hailey Bieber deciding to talk about Selena Gomez before Selena’s documentary is her trying to control the narrative but she ain’t foolin anyone," another user said.
Despite Selena's best efforts to beg her fans - so called 'Selenators' - to stop with the nasty comments, they have continued to rain in.
One user responded to Gomez's TikTok live: "Selena gomez is truly one of the kindest people on this planet because the fact that she can get on live and preach kindness after hailey tried to steal her moment and speak for her… we really don’t deserve her."
Neither Hailey nor Justin have publicly responded to Selena's live.

Selena's latest TikTok comes after she previously took to Instagram to ask her fans to stop harassing and hating on the couple.
Speaking words many should adopt and live by, Gomez said: "I do not stand for women tearing women down. I will never, ever be by that. So please be kind to everyone."
