The note simply read: “Help! Wendy!!”.
The call came in at about 11:15 a.m. and authorities arrived to check on the star, while she was filmed standing by her window and speaking on the phone.
Last year, a statement was released on behalf of the star about her health.

Her appointed guardian's lawyers announced she'd been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia in 2023 and had become 'cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated.’
However, on January 16 earlier this year, in conversation with The Breakfast Club, Williams said she'd been admitted to a 'wellness center' by her guardian against her will.
When police arrived at the facility they then waited for an ambulance before Williams was escorted down to the street.
When she was walking from the facility to the ambulance, reporters asked the star how she was feeling and how she was doing, Williams did not respond.

Williams was reportedly taken to Lenox Hill Hospital where she is undergoing an independent examination to attempt to determine whether her cognitive functions are sufficiently intact for her to end her guardianship.
This episode comes after Williams was set to make her return to TV despite her supposed health woes.

Williams planned to make an appearance on ABC’s “The View” on Friday, her first day time TV appearance since leaving her own show, The Wendy Williams Show four years ago.

Former co-executive producer of Williams’ show Suzanne Bass wrote on Instagram over the weekend: “Prepping a very special friend for her appearance @theviewabc to air this Friday. #freewendy."
She also shared a video of her speaking to Williams on the phone, with Williams saying she is ‘doing good’ and ‘she can’t wait’.
On social media people have remarked how this episode has made them more concerned about Williams.
One user commented on Twitter: “This is really a sad situation. I don't know if she needs a guardian or not but shouldn't a court occasionally review her status?”
