Leonardo DiCaprio is being tipped to bag an Oscar after what fans describe as his 'best ever' performance in Killers of the Flower Moon.
The Martin Scorsese film is out in cinemas across the globe from today (20 October), with many flocking to go see it on day one.
An official synopsis for Killers of the Flower Moon reads: "Members of the Osage tribe in northeastern Oklahoma are murdered under mysterious circumstances in the 1920s, sparking a major BOI (which became the FBI in 1935) investigation directed by a 29-year-old J. Edgar Hoover and former Texas Ranger Tom White."

Leonardo DiCaprio portrays Ernest Burkhart in the western drama, while Robert De Niro stars as William Hale.
And according to fans who have watched the new movie, the pair have delivered masterclasses in acting.
But it is DiCaprio's role as Ernest that the majority of fans are talking about, with many flocking to social media to sing his praises.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: "Just got out of Killers Of The Flower Moon and WOW. I think it’s my favorite movie of 2023.
"It’s a masterpiece in filmmaking and storytelling. I absolutely love the movie. I can see Leonardo DiCaprio winning an Oscar because his acting is literally amazing. You see all emotions, and yes crying too."
