A contestant on Love Island USA caused quite a stir when he called show host Sarah Hyland 'disrespectful' in the middle of an episode.
It was that time in the show for someone to get dumped and it was the turn of Keenan Anunay who'd been paired with Vickala Grey, or 'Kay Kay' as she liked to be known.
With Keenan leaving the show, Kay Kay decided that she didn't want to stick around without him and announced to the rest of the islanders that she was voluntarily dumping herself.

She said: "Can I say something? I would like to voluntarily also leave. I feel like I found what I came here for, and I'd like to leave with Keenan."
This got one hell of a surprised reaction from the other contestants, who were almost uniformly too gobsmacked to say anything beyond expressing their shock.
Kay Kay reassured everyone that things were 'ok' and she was 'not upset' to be leaving Love Island as she took Keenan's hand and they walked away together, ready to leave the show for good.

He told her 'you're too good for me' and she replied that he was 'perfect'.
Love Island USA host, Sarah Hyland, had to make sure that Kay Kay was a-okay to be departing from the show with Keenan as there was no coming back once she was out.
She asked: "Before you go anywhere I just want to make sure that you are absolutely happy with your decision?"
While Kay Kay said she had 'no regrets' there was one objection from fellow islander Mike Stark, who asked Sarah: "Why are you saying it like that? It sounded mad disrespectful."

If there was a script to the reality show that moment definitely didn't seem to be in it, as another contestant whispered for Mike to 'stop'.
Hyland asked again whether he thought she was being disrespectful and Mike answered in the affirmative before looking over at Keenan and appearing to touch his heart.
It's fair to say that the vibe had been rather comprehensively killed, while Leonardo Dionicio leaned over and whispered an apology on Mike's behalf, with her accepting it by saying 'boys will be boys'.

People reacting to the awkward moment largely took Sarah's side over Mike's, saying that he was 'so rude' to someone who was 'literally just doing her job'.
Another praised her, saying she 'kept her cool', while there was also a lot of scepticism over whether Kay Kay made the right choice by deciding to go with Keenan.
