Dr DisRespect deletes his post admitting to inappropriately messaging a minor

Dr DisRespect was in contact with the minor in 2017, which resulted in him being banned from Twitch

Popular streamer Dr DisRespect has seemingly deleted a lengthy message on Twitter that admitted he inappropriately messaged a minor in 2017.

The content creator, real name Herschel ‘Guy’ Beahm IV, was mysteriously banned from streaming site Twitch in 2020.

However, in June 2024, a former Twitch employee came out to reveal that the streamer was actually banned from the site for being caught sexting a minor in the then-existing Twitch Whispers product.

Beahm attempted to lift the ban through a civil dispute due to a contract breach in 2021, but it concluded without a court hearing.

Following the revelation, Beahm posted a lengthy message on Twitter in June that detailed his side of the story and he ultimately admitted to his past behavior.

"Lets cut the f**king bulls**t, as you know there's no filter with me. I've always been up front and real with you guys on anything that I can be up front about, and I'm always willing to accept responsibility... which is why I'm here now," Beahm began in his statement.

"Were there twitch whisper messages with an individual minor back in 2017? The answer is yes. Were there real intentions behind these messages, the answer is absolutely not.

"These were casual, mutual conversations that sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate, but nothing more.

"I'm no f**king predator or pedophile. Are you kidding me? Anyone that truly [sic] knows me f**king knows where I stand on those things with those types of people. F**k that," he continued.

"That's a different level of disgust that I f**king hate even hearing about. Don't be labeling me as the worst of the worst with your exaggerations. Get the f**k outta here with that s**t."

The streamer went on to reiterate that no criminal charges were brought against him. He also addressed his decision to leave the gaming studio he helped co-found in Midnight Society and apologized for his mistakes.

However, the post is now nowhere to be found on Dr DisRespect's Twitter page.

While it's unclear why the post has been deleted, the streamer has been reportedly remodeling his page for some time ahead of his still undetermined return.

His latest tweet posted just a few hours ago reads: "Vacation is just too good right now. We'll be back soon though Champs. We have lots to talk about. Yayaya yayaya yayaya."
